Appleton Park
Located between the Keppel Kracken & Yeppoon Lagoon infinity pool, a short walk from the beach, Appleton Park offers a dry space for kids to run and play, and the skate park for active kids/teens.
Childs play Keppel Bay
Appleton Park is an all abilities playground located on Anzac Parade, Yeppoon, and hosts a disability swing. (Pick up the key from Sailing Club)
The park has barbecue facilities, seating with tables and a large shade shed area, with many established trees, and makes it a popular spot for family gatherings, birthday parties and mums groups hangouts. The fenced playground prevents the kiddies from making a dash, has two toilets and is positioned next to the playground.
A 10.45 metre high “Octo Net” is the ultimate play zone for little ones who love to climb. Replacing the former Space Net on the foreshore, the Octo Net provides hours of imaginative playtime.
There is a large grassed area to one side, which most of the kids don’t bother with, but it’s nice to have if you want to sit and picnic if there are no tables left.
Appleton Park is also home to the Yeppoon Skate Park.
Parking is top, front and side of the playground,
